Body contour dress with iris pattern

This dress has a pattern made from photographs of some of our irises, which appear in blooming splendor in our yard in early May, but by late May they are finished. The petals of irises seem to shimmer in the sunlight, and there is a hint of pink in the otherwise cream and pale orange colored petals. This body contour dress displays the two moods of May; on the front the pattern is made from photographs I took on a dry and sunny day, while on the back a very similar photograph was taken after a rainstorm, and drops on the petals give the pattern a special appearance.
