Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. Repeated turning or working may affect the digital print, always test your processes on a sample first. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.

The personalized heart keychain is typically created with either a smooth and textured Nappa leather, but there is also the option to switch to a vegan-friendly faux leather.
The keychain is 2.5" x 3.1" with a silver metal split ring at the top of the heart. It's a great size for putting in your pocket, adding to your house or car keys, or even attaching to the handle of a handbag.
We make all our products with the utmost care and attention to detail. Creating your heart shaped photo keychain is no different. First, our expert leather workers print your photos onto a smooth or textured Nappa leather, or a vegan-friendly leatherette - depending on your preference. We use a specialist printing technique that ensures the ink infuses deep into the leather fibers for beautiful, long-lasting results.
Two pieces are then cut to size into a heart shape, and carefully hand-stitched together using a 40 gauge thread in the color of your choice. You can choose from red, blue, brown, cream, or black thread.
A spongy insert is added in between the two leather pieces and at the top of the heart, we add a small tab where the polished split ring will sit. To finish the keyring off, we use a special paint around the edges that matches the color of the thread. This edge paint provides a quality finish and helps protect the leather.
Everything is handmade and crafted carefully to make your personalized heart keychain really unique to you.
You can use the design interface to add both photos and texts to your photo heart keychain. You could use a block color background and text to create an initial keychain or leave a sweet message for your partner to attach to their keys and keep with them all day.
Alternatively, choose your favorite photos and add a different piece to either side of the photo heart keychain. You could even add your favorite holiday snaps to the heart shaped photo keychain to motivate you at work until your next adventure.
It's important to note that the stitching could cause image distortion so make sure you ensure all key areas of your photo or design into the center of the keychain. The design interface will show you where the safe and bleed areas are.
